Çeper Sewing Factory in Turkmenistan’s northern velayat of Dashoguz produced more than 5.355 million manats since the beginning of 2021, the country’s official media reported on Friday.
The factory under the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan currently produces around 200 types of garments, most of which are made upon orders.
During the period, the factory's production has increased significantly due to orders from country’s industrial, construction and agricultural complexes, education, health care and culture spheres, and due to orders from the Turkmenistan’s State Customs Service and Ministry of Defense, according to the report.
The factory sews clothes for children and blankets of various sizes, which are in high demand in the country. The factory’s textile products are sold in specialized stores of the Ministry of Textile Industry.
The factory has high-performance sewing machines and equipment made in Turkey, China, Japan, Germany. Last year, Çeper Sewing Factory launched the production of school backpacks and medical masks.
