The participants considered new proposals for further improving and simplifying operations in the Single Window system.
The State Customs Service of Turkmenistan last Saturday hosted the third meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission for the Coordination of the Single Window for Export-Import Operations system on Friday.
In addition to the members of the Interdepartmental Commission, representatives of the UNDP and the Turkmen Association of International Road Carriers also took part in the meeting, the Turkmen State Customs Service said in its press release.
The meeting participants noted the need for amendments and additions to certain legislative acts of state regulatory bodies in accordance with the Law of Turkmenistan on Electronic Documents, Electronic Document Management and Digital Services, taking into account international experience.
The officials also considered new proposals for further improving and simplifying operations for participants in foreign economic activity in the Single Window for Export-Import Operations system.
The Single Window aims to expedite and simplify information flows between trade and government and bring meaningful gains to all parties involved in cross-border trade.
