In January-March of this year, the production of sausages in Turkmenistan increased by 24.4%.
In the first quarter of 2021, Turkmenistan significantly increased the processing of agricultural products by modernizing existing and opening new processing enterprises, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET) reported on its website on Wednesday.
In January-March of this year, the production of sausages in the country increased by 24.4%, whole milk products – by 12.7%, butter – by 23.9%, vegetable oil – by 23.7%, confectionery – by 12. 5%, mineral waters and drinks – by 49.4%, according to the report.
During a government meeting in Turkmenistan. President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov instructed the Vice-Premier Chary Gylyjov and the heads of the country’s trade complex to monitor the activities of enterprises of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, instructing to develop further measures to support small, medium and large businesses.
The UIET was established in 2008 to support small and medium-sized businesses in Turkmenistan, to promote the development of the private sector of the national economy and the formation of a modern enterprise infrastructure.
