Turkmenistan’s Gamyşlyjanebit Produces Around 114 Thousand Tons of Oil
Gamyşlyjanebit oil and gas production department operates at the Shatut, Kerem and Altyguyi fields.
Türkmennebit State Concern’s Gamyşlyjanebit oil and gas production department, operating at the Shatut, Kerem and Altyguyi fields, have extracted 113,963 thousand 963 tons of crude oil since the beginning of 2021, the online newspaper of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan reported on Wednesday.
In the first two months of this year, the Gamyşlyjanebit produced over 61 thousand tons of oil.
The Türkmennebit SC is presently constructing 11 production and two exploration wells in the North Goturdepe field.
During a government meeting on February 11, Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said the Türkmennebit SC should practice new forms of cooperation with international companies in the field of prospecting, exploration and development of oil and gas fields, attract foreign investments for drilling new wells and extracting hard-to-recover and residual oil reserves from old wells.
