The Intergovernmental Turkmen-Belarusian Commission on Economic Cooperation held online meeting on Friday, where the officials touched on the matters of operation of the Service Center of Belarusian Equipment in Ashgabat.
The meeting gathered heads and leading specialists of ministries and departments, as well as business circles of the two countries, the official media of Turkmenistan reports.
The meeting participants made proposals on the supply of trucks and buses, agricultural machinery and elevator equipment manufactured in Belarus to Turkmenistan, according to the report.
During the meeting, the parties also discussed and outlined a number of specific steps designed to contribute to the diversification of partnership in the trade and economic sphere, and to increase the volume of mutual trade.
To this end, the sides noted the need to take additional measures to increase export-import operations and expand the range of traded goods and services.
Following the meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Belarusian Commission on Economic Cooperation, the officials signed a corresponding protocol.
