Turkmenistan Airlines Open Joint-Stock Company launches regular direct cargo transportation service on Boeing 777-200 LR aircraft.

The first flight is scheduled for February 26 this year, Turkmenistan’s Golden Age news outlet reported on Friday. The flight will run once a week between China and Germany. The company will fly to Beijing on Fridays and to Frankfurt on Saturdays.

The air cargo flights are reportedly planned in test mode until the end of March. The company already started accepting orders for freight transportation to Europe and Asia. The flights will be carried out with modern Boeing aircraft designed for 30-35 tons of cargo.

The efficiency of air cargo transportation achieved within the framework of the service will allow interested parties to further increase the frequency of flights and expand the delivery of cargo on Boeing aircraft on existing and new routes, according to the report.

Turkmenistan Airlines has been carrying out regular air transportation of freight on the IL-76 aircraft to Istanbul and Abu Dhabi.
