The Institute of Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan is the first of the country's research institutions to fully transfer to self-financing.
Scientists of the Institute of Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, as part of their work to expand the types of effective disinfectants based on local raw materials, presented a new technology using copper sulfate.
In obtaining the chemical compound, the specialists of the research institute used the remains of copper, sulfuric acid, ammonium nitrate from the enterprises of Türkmenhimiýa (Turkmen Chemicals) State Concern, TDH news agency reported on Friday.
Turkmen scientists noted that copper sulfate is environmentally friendly and is used in agriculture, construction and pharmacology. The chemical compound is the most effective and inexpensive anti-fungal agent. The compound can be used to treat hard-to-reach places for disinfection. Its solution does not lose its efficacy within 25-30 days.
Sahy Doganlar Individual Enterprise presently produces copper sulphate based on the technical conditions and regulations developed by the Institute of Chemistry.
The Institute of Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan is the first of the country's research institutions to fully transfer to self-financing. According to the new structure, the institute's divisions include 4 laboratories and 4 departments, which are transferred to self-financing through the implementation of orders and services.
