Turkmen Company Launches Production of Markow Coffee Products

Toýly Economic Society 's plans include the production of more than 30 types of coffee products under Markow trademark.

Toýly Economic Society located in Buzmeyin etrap of Turkmenistan’s Ashgabat city launched the production of coffee products under the Markow trademark.

In an interview with Business Turkmenistan, head of the company's Production Department Ogulbagt Bayramdurdyeva said the enterprise produces wide range of high-quality coffee products, adding that the raw materials for production are supplied from countries such as Indonesia, Brazil, Vietnam, Malaysia, Australia and Turkey.

Markow branded coffee products include instant freeze-dried coffee, coffee capsules for Nespresso coffee machines, ground espresso coffee and roasted coffee beans as well as 3-in-1 coffee in classic, cappuccino, mocha, latte and hazelnut flavors.

Workshops of the enterprise are equipped with high-tech machinery from leading companies from Germany, Holland, Italy, Canada, the U.S., Japan, China and Turkey.

“Our main goal is to promote import substitution and increase the country's export potential, and supply high-quality coffee to the local market at a favorable price,” Ogulbagt Bayramdurdyeva noted.

The company's plans include the production of more than 30 types of coffee products and the establishment of exports to the countries of Europe and Persian Gulf, and the CIS states. Toýly ES is already carrying out relevant operations in this direction.

The plant, which is designed to produce wide range of coffee products, will create 250 jobs when fully operational.
