The project will be jointly implemented by Altyn Asyr marketing center and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
Deputy Chairman of Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Chary Gylyjov during a government meeting on Friday reported to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on activities to create digital platform for trade in textile products.
During his report, the Vice-Premier said that an electronic database is currently under development, and that the online platform will allow parties to get relevant information about textile brands and marketing services, as well as to order various textile products produced in the country, TDH news agency reports.
At the first stage, it is planned to organize the delivery of orders for textile products throughout the country, and in the future – to international markets. The electronic trading platform will be equipped with special software.
Gylyjov added that in the future, it is planned to establish cooperation of new trading platform with global virtual trading platforms and domestic information service resources and other e-commerce platforms.
The project will be jointly implemented by Altyn Asyr marketing center of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
