Mary State Power Plant produced over 11.7 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity in 2020, ending the last year with strong results.
According to Turkmenistan newspaper’s Tuesday issue, the power plant maintains stable production of 36 million kW/h of electricity daily.
The plant’s production allows uninterrupted supply of electricity to consumers in the country and neighboring states.
Mary State Power Plant will provide Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan power transmission line (TAP) with electricity. At the initial stage of construction, the 220 kW power line will run to the city of Herat, Afghanistan.
