Turkmen Manufacturer of Construction Materials Starts Exporting Its Products

The new production complex of the enterprise produces two types of dry construction mixtures - a large type for the initial application and a ground one for subsequent grinding.

Ak Gaýa Economic Society in Turkmenbashi etrap of Turkmenistan’s Balkan velayat began to export its environmentally friendly building materials and drywall products, Rysgal newspaper reported on Monday.

The new production complex of the enterprise produces two types of dry construction mixtures - a large type for the initial application and a ground one for subsequent grinding. They are packed in 30 kg bags. The company presently exports its dry construction mixtures to Russia upon orders.

According to the report, the complex is capable of producing 8 million square meters of drywall per year. The produced drywalls are 2.5 meters long, 1.25 meters wide, 9.5 and 12.5 millimeters thick, and are available in three colors - white for indoor use, moisture-resistant green, and fire-resistant red.

The plant’s production workshops are equipped with modern machinery purchased from Turkey, Spain, China and other countries. The entire production process is automated and controlled by operators.

The company’s new production complex, located in Akdash settlement, covers an area of 25 hectares. The complex includes an administrative building, a checkpoint, a hostel for workers, warehouses, and engineering infrastructure. The work is currently being carried out in two shifts. The plant produces an average of 8,000 drywall units daily.
