Turkmenistan Considers Creation of Support Center For Exporters

Turkmen President said domestic private producers should be provided with marketing, legal and consulting assistance in exporting their products.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on Wednesday during a working meeting on the development of the country's trade complex instructed to prepare proposals for the creation on a voluntary basis of such organizations as a support center for exporters and a center for assisting small and medium-sized businesses, TDH news agency reports.

Noting the need to study the positive experience in this direction of foreign states, the Head of State gave relevant instructions to a number of deputy chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of relevant ministries and sectoral departments, who participated in the online meeting dedicated to the current state of affairs in the country's trade complex and the priority tasks for its further development.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also said that private entrepreneurs should take an active part in the implementation of large industrial projects, including the creation of high-tech industries, adding that domestic private producers should be provided with marketing, legal and consulting assistance in exporting their products and consolidating their positions in the international markets.

It is necessary to increase the sale of products via the Internet, create platforms for e-commerce within the country, strengthen advertising of domestic goods at the international level, the Turkmen Leader stressed and gave relevant instructions to the meeting participants.
