Clothing and accessories, and other textile products make up 9.9% and 6.9%, respectively, of total exports to Ukraine.
During the first nine months of this year, Turkmenistan increased the export of its products to Ukraine by 62.8% compared to the same period last year, Orient news outlet reported on Thursday with reference to the data from the State Statistics Committee of Turkmenistan.
At the beginning of the year, in the first months of the global spread of coronavirus infection, supplies to Ukraine decreased, but in July they began to grow steadily.
According to the report, the bulk of Turkmenistan's exports to Ukraine were mineral fuels, oil and refined oil products (48.5%). The country also supplied fertilizers (12.1%), clothing and accessories (9.9%), and other textile products (6.9%) to Ukraine.
In April 2020, representatives of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and Ukraine held a meeting, within the framework of which agreements were reached on expanding cooperation in the economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
