Gündiz Individual Enterprise, located in Ak Bugday etrap of Turkmenistan’s Ahal velayat, is one of the leading manufacturers of various types of custom made luxury furniture.
Director of the enterprise Muhammetnazar Balliyev said in an interview with Business Turkmenistan that the furniture’s project is first developed in the enterprise’s design studio and then the furniture boards are given the desired shape using special equipment. The director added that the company’s workshops also include a CNC technology for applying special patterns to the surface of the furniture.
The enterprise also operates a specialized dyeing workshop, designed for painting 4,000 square meters of furniture monthly.
The company also manufactures custom-made wood-coated furniture products from MDF. Coating materials are supplied from Italy, Spain and Russia. In addition, the enterprise has established a production line for wooden legs and stair columns, which were previously imported from abroad.
In addition to fulfilling customer orders, the company has the capacity to produce 50 kitchen sets and 3,000 doors per month, Balliyev said during the interviews.
Established in 2015, the Gündiz company plans to master new methods of manufacturing trendy furniture to meet the population’s demand. In addition, the company's plans include a program for import substitution of goods imported from Europe, particularly the establishment of a line for the production of luxury kitchen tables and chairs, and upholstery.
