Over the past nine months of this year, the private sector’s share in the velayat’s retail trade exceeded 90%.
In Turkmenistan, entrepreneurs are actively involved in the development of new sectors of the economy, including in the industrial processing of minerals using advanced technologies.
According to the Türkmenistan newspaper’s Friday issue, over the past nine months of this year, the private sector accounted for more than half of the industrial production in Balkan velayat, producing around 5.51 billion manats worth of products.
Over the period, the private sector’s share in the velayat’s retail trade exceeded 90%.
Preserntly, the number of large industrial facilities and social structures built by members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan in Balkan velayat is growing.
Established in 2008, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan unites over 24 thousand businesspeople working in various sectors of the economy. The UIET members have created more than 10 thousand jobs of various specializations.
