Dashoguz Velayat entrepreneurs make a significant contribution to the economic growth of the northern region of the country. They invested funds in the diversification and modernization of the industrial and agricultural sectors, implemented a number of socially significant projects, and constructed objects for various purposes.

A member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of the country - the individual enterprise “Bir Yol” is erecting a new greenhouse for growing tomatoes. The complex will be located on four hectares of land on the territory of Bayram Taganov Gengeshlik of S. Turkmenbashi Etrap.

The individual enterprise “Aman Meten” started the construction of a greenhouse on five hectares located on the territory of the "Baydak" Gengeshlik of Gubadag Etrap. It is planned to equip the both greenhouses with modern, energy-saving technologies, allowing to produce high-quality environmentally friendly products.

Currently, greenhouses for the cultivation of fruits and vegetables in the context of the state import substitution and export orientation programmes are built by the representatives of the business community in most etraps of the Dashoguz Velayat. The active development of this sector is facilitated by the state support.
