Turkmenistan’s Türkmenaragatnaşyk (Turkmen Communications) Agency will conclude a contract with the UAE-based Vialeх FZE for the purchase of equipment, software and licenses for the modernization of the video conferencing system in the country, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan (TDH) reported on Friday.
During the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on Friday, Deputy Prime Minister Bayramgeldi Ovezov reported to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the activities of the ministries and departments under his supervision for eight months, and on the draft Resolution on the purchase of equipment, software and the acquisition of licenses for modernization video conferencing systems.
Deputy Prime Minister Ovezov added that today modern video communication equipment complexes have been installed in the country, and work is underway to further modernize them.
“Türkmenaragatnaşyk Agency announced an international tender, following which a proposal from Vialex FZE was selected,” the Deputy Prime Minister said.
Following the report, the Head of State signed a Decree, authorizing the Türkmenaragatnaşyk Agency to conclude a contract with the UAE-based company.
