New Hyundai City Buses Arrive in Turkmenistan

The new Hyundai buses are equipped with modern engines that comply with the Euro-4 emission standard.

South Korean Hyundai Motor Company’s 38 All New Super Aero City buses were unloaded in Turkmenistan’s Turkmenbashi International Seaport and sent to the coutry’s capital of Ashgabat, Turkmenistan’s Golden Age news outlet reported on Wednesday.

According to the report, this is the first batch of transport vehicles delivered in accordance with a contract signed in March this year between the Türkmenawtoulaglary (Turkmen Motor Vehicle) Agency and the Hyundai Motor Company for the purchase of 400 buses.

The South Korean vehicle manufacturer has been cooperating with Turkmenistan since 2008. The company has so far supplied a total of 1,200 buses to the country.

The new buses feature upgraded functions compared to previous models, including rear-view camera and rear cross-traffic alert functions. The new buses are also equipped with modern engines that comply with the Euro-4 emission standard.

The South Korean company will also provide the supply of spare parts and consumables of the buses.
