Çeper Sewing Factory in Turkmenistan’s northern velayat of Dashoguz has produced its first batch of a new type of product - school backpacks, Turkmenistan’s Golden Age news outlet reported on Friday.
The backpacks are made of durable materials of domestic production in various colors. The first batch of the new product has already arrived at specialized markets and trade points of Turkmenistan.
Also in the northern velayat of the country, where there are 528 secondary schools, various types of school uniforms and school supplies from the Çeper Sewing Factory are in great demand, including uniforms for labor lessons for boys and girls, released on the eve of the new school year.
Over the past seven months of this year, Çeper Sewing Factory of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan has produced products worth 8,229,518 manats. The factory employs around 200 people.
