Turkmen and Romanian ministers considered the priority spheres of collaboration in the field of energy, transport, agriculture, light industry, education and high technologies.
The Minister of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan Muhammetgeldi Serdarov on Wednesday held an online meeting with the Minister of Economy, Energy and the Business Environment of Romania Vigil Popescu, Turkmen Foreign Ministry said in a press release.
The meeting participants thoroughly discussed a number of pressing issues of the bilateral agenda. The officials paid special attention to the possibilities of expanding cooperation in combatting the COVID-19 pandemic, and on the implementation of joint actions on overcoming its economic repercussions.
The ministers also noted the significance of the Joint Turkmen-Romanian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation and discussed the options of holding the next session of the Commission.
In addition, the parties considered the priority spheres of collaboration in the field of energy, transport, agriculture, light industry, education and high technologies.
