Representatives of Turkmenistan’s Ministry of Finance and Economy and Central Bank on Thursday participated in World Bank’s online conference on measures to support sustainable economic development during the COVID-19 pandemic, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan (TDH) reports.
The agenda of the online meeting included support for enterprises in Europe and Central Asia as part of the response to COVID-19.
The participants were presented with the corresponding thematic presentation of the World Bank.
Turkmenistan carries out large-scale measures to counteract the negative impact of the global crisis on the national economy, according to the report.
During the exchange of views, the meeting participants noted the importance of continuing the practice of mutually beneficial contacts and that this will in turn strengthen constructive cooperation.
