A video conference meeting with Luca Vignati, Executive Vice President for Central Asia Region at Eni, was held at the central office of the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan on Thursday. Adviser to the President of Turkmenistan on Oil and Gas Issues Yagshygeldi Kakayev headed the Turkmen delegation.
The meeting participants discussed various aspects of cooperation in the fuel and energy sector, taking into consideration the current state and global trends in the development of world energy markets.
The sides also considered the Italian companies proposals on the necessary measures to optimize investments and activities in accordance with the current economic situation in order to preserve the value and stability of assets in the interests of both parties.
The participants also noted the positive experience of the Eni’s branch in Turkmenistan, operating under the Production Sharing Agreement on the Nebitdag contract area.
