The Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan on Friday held a video conference meeting with the UK Export Finance, the United Kingdom’s government export credit agency.
The meeting gathered representatives of several ministries and industry departments of Turkmenistan, specialists of the UK Export Finance, and the British Ambassador to Turkmenistan.
During the video conference, the parties discussed the possibility of intensifying cooperation in the financial sector and the implementation of specific investment projects.
Vomik Shah, the representative of UK Export Finance, said the agency is ready to assist British companies develop partnerships with Turkmenistan and expand the range of provided services.
In February 2020, the Turkmen delegation held talks with the management of the UK Export Finance in London. During the negotiations, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation with the Turkmengaz State Concern and other departments of Turkmenistan.
