Akar produces a total of 500,000 pairs of socks a month.
Turkmen entrepreneur Serdar Annakov's company Akar exported 350 thousand pairs of socks to Russia, the Ashgabat-based Rysgal newspaper reported on Monday.
Akar, the company of the member-entrepreneur of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET), monthly produces a total of 500,000 pairs of socks.
The enterprise is equipped with high-tech machinery of leading Italian firms, allowing to produce high quality, environmentally friendly socks that meet international standards.
Founded in 2008, Akar sock producing enterprise employs about 100 specialists.
