Exports of Turkmenistan to Azerbaijan in the first nine months of 2022 is more than 13.6 times higher than the same period in 2021.
Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan increased by 6.2 times in January-September 2022 compared to the same period in 2021 ($48.6 million), reaching $305.5 million, Trend news agency reported on Tuesday, with reference to the data of State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.
Exports of Turkmenistan to Azerbaijan in the first nine months of 2022 totaled $292.4 million, which is more than 13.6 times higher than the same period in 2021 ($21.5 million).
In January-September 2022, Turkmenistan more than halved its imports from Azerbaijan compared to the same period in 2021 ($27.1 million) to $13.1 million.
The foreign trade turnover of Turkmenistan in the first nine months of 2022 saw a year-on-year increase of 40.7 percent.
