The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week exceeded $3.25 million.
For foreign currency, the businesses from Tajikistan purchased urea of Türkmenhimiýa (Turkmen Chemicals) State Concern. Business circles from Turkey, Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan a wide range of cotton yarn, plain-dyed and jacquard terry products, as well as mineral fertilizers, the official Turkmen media reported on Monday.
The companies from the United Arab Emirates purchased cotton yarn for more than 2.9 million manats.
For the domestic market, local businesses purchased high-density polyethylene of Türkmenhimiýa for a total of 1.44 million manats.
