A conference entitled "Development of the construction, industry, energy sectors of Turkmenistan" and the international exhibition "Construction, industry, energy of Turkmenistan – 2022" was held in Turkmenistan’s capital Ashgabat on Saturday and Sunday.
The events gathered government officials, members of Turkmen bicameral parliament, representatives of public organizations of the country, heads of diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in Turkmenistan, foreign and domestic businesspeople, and the media, the country’s official media reports.
The forum saw the signing of three export contracts for the purchase of ECO-93 gasoline produced at a plant for the production of gasoline from natural gas in Ahal province, three import contracts with leading companies from the UK, Germany and Italy, as well as a Memorandum of Understanding between the Türkmenhimiýa (Turkmen Chemicals) State Concern and the German company KSB Group.
Foreign participants of the forum expressed their readiness for a broad partnership with their Turkmen colleagues in the development of new technologies, participation in joint projects, test trials of experimental models for their further introduction into production.
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, in his congratulations to the participants of the exhibition and conference, stated that large-scale work is being carried out to strengthen the material and technical base of ministries and sectoral departments in the structure of the construction and industrial complex of Turkmenistan.
During the exhibition, leading enterprises producing building materials necessary for the industrial sector of the country, as well as new enterprises in this segment have exhibited their capabilities.
