President Serdar Berdimuhamedov said Turkmenistan is open for constructive cooperation.
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received on Tuesday Eric Stewart, the Executive Director of the Turkmenistan-US Business Council and John Reese, the Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors at the Nicklaus Companies, the official Turkmen media reports.
During the meeting, the guests expressed the intention of the US business circles to invest in the development of the Turkmen economy, and take an active part in ongoing major projects and programs in the country.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov said Turkmenistan is open for constructive cooperation and welcomed the desire of the American business community to strengthen its position in the Turkmen market.
The business representatives also expressed the willingness of the US companies specializing in sports to support development of golf in Turkmenistan.
The Head of State confirmed Turkmenistan's readiness to consider new proposals for further expansion of traditional cooperation.
The Turkmenistan-US Business Council was established in 2008 to promote the development of the Turkmen-US trade-economic cooperation.
