Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stressed that Turkmenistan gives high priority to the widespread introduction of innovative technologies and the best foreign experience.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Chairman of Halk Maslakhaty chamber of Turkmen bicameral parliament Milli Gengesh, on behalf of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, on Wednesday met with Eric Stewart, the Executive Director of the Turkmenistan-US Business Council and John Reese, the Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors at the Nicklaus Companies.
The businessmen expressed readiness to strengthen their positions in the promising Turkmen market and interest of the US business circles in establishing ever closer ties with the state and business structures of Turkmenistan, the official Turkmen media reports.
They also stated the developing interstate relations, which mainly focus on building up trade-economic ties.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stressed that Turkmenistan gives high priority to the widespread introduction of innovative technologies and the best foreign experience, promotion of mutually beneficial contacts with the leading representatives of world business, including the US.
The Turkmenistan-US Business Council was established in 2008 to promote the development of the Turkmen-US trade-economic cooperation.
