The new administrative center of Ahal will include a set of social and economic facilities.

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov during an off-site government meeting on Thursday signed a Decree on establishing the State Committee for the construction of the center of Ahal province.

The Committee was created to ensure the high-quality construction and commissioning of a new modern administrative center of the province.

Under the document, the State Committee for the Construction of Ahal province center in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice and other relevant ministries of Turkmenistan was ordered to prepare and submit draft Regulations of the State Committee, the structure of the central office of the Committee, proposals for the amount of monthly salaries of the Committee's heads and the list of staff of the Committee's central office to the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.

The Head of State appointed Deryageldi Orazov, the Head of the Directorate of Facilities Under Construction of the Ministry of Construction and Architecture, as Chairman of the State Committee.

The new administrative center of Ahal will include 2-, 5-, 7- and 9-storey residential buildings, which will house 12,324 families, kindergartens, schools and other specialized educational institutions, healthcare, cultural, commercial and service institutions, sports facilities, administrative buildings, as well as transport, communications and engineering systems.
