Turkmenistan Intends to Build Housing For 472 Families in Guvlymayak

The residential complex is expected to house 472 families.

Charymyrat Purchekov, the Deputy Chairman of the Turkmen Government for the industrial and construction complex, during the off-site cabinet meeting on Thursday submitted a proposal to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for construction of a residential complex for 472 families in Guvlymayak town in Turkmeinistan’s western province of Balkan.

The Vice-Premier submitted the proposal after briefing that many of the specialists working at the Kiyanly polymer plant, located near Guvlymayak, come from other parts of Turkmenistan, the country’s official media reports.

During the meeting, he said that at the polymer plant, work is underway to establish the production of chemicals used in production.

After the briefing, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov outlined a number of urgent tasks for the Vice-Premier. He said that in order to ensure rational and efficient use of natural resources of the Balkan province and raw materials for the chemical and construction industries, the industrial and construction enterprises should be brought to their full capacity.

The Government meeting focused on the issues of socio-economic development of the western region of the country.
