The transportation of the block train through Turkmenistan, to Turkmenbashi International Seaport, was carried out by TULM.
Transport and Logistics Center of Turkmenistan (TULM) Open Joint-Stock Company facilitated the transportation of the first block train with 50 containers from Uzbekistan to Azerbaijan.
The TULM told Business Turkmenistan that the train with 40-foot containers loaded with car parts departed from Assaka Logistics Center in Uzbekistan’s Bukhara region.
The train entered Turkmenistan through Khojidavlat border station. Its further transportation to Turkmenbashi International Seaport was carried out by TULM. The feeder ship operated by the Turkmen transport company delivered the containers, via the Caspian Sea, to the Azerbaijani port of Alat.
The car parts carried by the train will be used by a car factory in Azerbaijan.
The regular run of such block trains on this route is on the agenda of TULM and its Azerbaijani partner.
