The company's construction materials are exported to Azerbaijan, Tajikistan and Russia.
Ak Gaýa Economic Society, the producer and trader of construction materials in Turkmenistan, manufactured more than 22.4 thousand tons of dry building mixtures last year, the country’s Rysgal newspaper reported on Monday.
The company’s plant for the production of dry building mixtures and plasterboard opened in the country’s western velayat of Balkan in December 2020.
In 2021, Ak Gaýa’s output of plasterboard amounted to 377.951 square meters.
The main raw material for the production is calcite, which is mined in a nearby quarry. The plant, equipped with modern machinery purchased from Turkey and other countries, is capable of producing 8 million square meters of plasterboard and 78 thousand tons of dry building mixtures.
The plant presently employs around 50 specialists. It’s construction materials are exported to Azerbaijan, Tajikistan and Russia.
