Representatives of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Tatarstan (Russian Federation) held video conference sessions, during which current subjects of cooperation in different spheres have been discussed.

As is known, strengthening of constructive dialog with big regions of Russian Federation, leading industrial, scientific, educational and cultural centres is one of the main vectors of foreign policy of our country. This is visually indicated by fruitful relations with the Republic of Tatarstan, which are based on significant practice of cooperation.

Detailed exchange of opinions on effective use of available capabilities for expansion of beneficial trade and economic relations during video conference session of the heads and representatives of Türkmendeňizderýaýollary and A. M. Gorky Zelenodolsk Plant Joint Stock Venture of Ak Bars Shipbuilding Corporation.

Importance of activation of partnership in many directions in the context of previous agreements between Presidents Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Rustam Minnikhanov has been highlighted.

Having expressed big interest in strengthening of productive relations, representatives of A. M. Gorky Zelenodolsk Plant Joint Stock Venture of Ak Bars Shipbuilding Corporation made proposal for construction of dry cargo ship, which is most beneficial from technical and economic point of view for maritime transportation in Caspian Sea.

Having highlighted importance of further expansion of cooperation, which supports development of Turkmen – Tatar relations in the spirit of friendship and understanding, the participants of the session confirmed the willingness to use available potential in these spheres.

Perspectives of cooperation have also been reviewed at the video conference of heads and representatives of Türkmenhowaýollary Agency and Kazan Helicopter Plant Public Joint Stock Venture.

As is known, Head of the State Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov singed the Resolution in March this year, according to which Türkmenhowaýollary Agency procure ANSAT and Mi-17-1W helicopter provided with modern medical equipment, which were produced by Kazan Helicopter Plant (The Republic of Tatarstan, Russian Federation).

Multifunctional helicopters are designated for provision of emergency medical aid to the population in remote settlements as well as in cities’ outskirts. The contract provides supply of spare parts and consumable materials as well as training of specialists.

Willingness of the sides to put all efforts for further strengthening of beneficial cooperation in transport sphere has been confirmed during video conference.

Heads and representatives of Türkmenhimiýa State Concern and KER-Holding Ltd, Tatarstan have held another video conference. Special attention has been paid to issues related to implementation of the project of construction of the unit for production of complex fertilizers (NPK) at Turkmenabat Chemical Plant and development of relative contract.

Chemical industry received strong impulse for accelerated development in the context of successful course to large-scale industrialization of Turkmenistan. Huge potential of this industry is based on colossal natural reserves of our country and capabilities made by high technology infrastructure.

Memorandum of Understanding, which reflects the intent of the sides to beneficial cooperation in implementation of perspective investment projects of development of chemical industry of Turkmenistan, has been signed between Türkmenhimiýa State Concern and KER-Holding OJSC during the visit of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the Republic of Tatarstan in June 2019.

This company has won international tender exercised by Türkmenhimiýa State Concern for project design and turn-key construction of the above-mentioned installation with output capacity of 170,000 tons of production nper year.

Relative Framework Agreement in implementation of this project has been signed at the first Caspian Economic Forum in Avaza National tourist zone last August.

Different aspects related to preparation of the project of construction of new production complex have been discussed at current video conference session. It was mentioned that Turkmen market, which has all necessary conditions for effective work of foreign companies, also has big opportunities.

Perspective of cooperation have been discussed during video conference session with participation of heads and representatives of Türkmenawtoulaglary Agency and KAMAZ Public Joint Stock Venture. Positive dynamics of partnership in transport sphere has been highlighted at the session.

Work for delivery of high productive vehicles and specialized equipment of this world famous brand is carried out at present according to the Resolution of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov from June last year.

Having highlighted that Turkmenistan market is one of the main for KAMAZ, representatives of the company noted that they would continue approaching the fulfilment of their partnership obligations, which include construction of service centres, further improvement of qualification of personnel who service modern equipment with full responsibility.
