Cotton Mill in Dashoguz Produces Yarn Worth 89 Million Manats
The mill produces 100% ring-spun cotton yarn.
Cotton spinning factory in Turkmenistan’s Dashoguz velayat produced over 89 million manats worth of cotton yarn last year.
Dashoguz Cotton Spinning Factory of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan is one of the major exporters of domestic yarn to foreign countries, the official media of Turkmenistan reported on Thursday.
In accordance to its contractual obligations and the conditions of contracts concluded at the Turkmen state commodity exchange, the plant supplied its Ring brand cotton yarn to a number of countries, including Turkey, the UK, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine.
The mill produces 100% ring-spun cotton yarn. It is capable of processing over 16.6 thousand tons of cotton fiber per year and producing 14.5 thousand tons of high-quality Ring brand cotton yarn.
In 2020, the plant produced cotton yarn worth 63 million manats.
