Owadan Ülke Economic Society, the producer of food products in Turkmenistan, has launched the production of margarine and butter, chocolate paste, fruit jams, and pickled grape leaves, the country’s Rysgal newspaper reported on Monday.
The company specializes in the production of canned vegetables such as cucumbers, tomatoes, bell peppers and beans, mayonnaise, ketchup and jams under the Nur, Mylaýym and Hazyna brands.
Every day, the enterprise produces more than eight tons of canned vegetables, which are sold at retail outlets in all regions of the country. The company's products were also exported to Georgia.
The company operates a specialized quality control laboratory, which monitors the quality of products at every stage of production. It also has refrigerated warehouses for the storage of finished products.
Owadan Ülke’s plant was commissioned in 2016 in Ak Bugday etrap of Ahal velayat. The company aims to export its food products to Russia and Kazakhstan.
