The meeting participants discussed intensification of partnership between the CCIs of Turkmenistan and Armenia.
Chambers of commerce and industry of Turkmenistan and Armenia during an online talks on Tuesday discussed perspectives for business cooperation between the two countries.
The online event was organized with the assistance of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Armenia, ArmInfo news outlet reports.
The Turkmen side was represented by the leadership of the country’s CCI, representatives of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations, the Ministry of Textile Industry, the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production and members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
The Armenian side included the head and Presidium members of the country’s CCI, a representative of the Ministry of Economy, and representatives of private companies.
The meeting participants noted that the intensification of partnership between the chambers of commerce and industry of the two countries will be an important step in establishing close business ties between entrepreneurs.
Following discussions on cooperation issues, the sides identified textile industry, construction industry, and agriculture as priority areas of cooperation.
