President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country, Army General Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular session of the State Security Council. Outcomes of activity of military and law enforcement agencies for five months of the year have been discussed at the session.
First, Minister of Defence B. Gundogdiyev reported on work carried out in the structures under his command in January – May as well as on spring recruitment campaign.
Speaking of the utmost objectives of the Ministry, the Head of Turkmenistan highlighted that defensive infrastructure of the country has to meet time realities. Planned delivery of modern military equipment requires comprehensive training of officers and soldiers and improvement of their qualification. In this regard, the President ordered to pay special attention to introduction of new methods in education process in profile high educational institutes.
Further, Ministry of Interior M. Chakiyev reported on activity of the Ministry for the period under review. It was informed about measures for provision of fulfilment of fire safety regulations.
Having listened to the report, the Head of the state focused on the necessity of improvement of work of all structural divisions of the Ministry. Due to start of summer season, it was requested to enforce measures for compliance with fire safety mode.
Speaking of importance of active implementation of modern technical means and systems of provision of safe road traffic, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that it is to support the prevention of road transport accidents.
Head of the State Border Guard Service Sh. Durdliliyev reported about work for strengthening of equipment and facility base and making of proper conditions for service and life of military personnel.
Summing up the report, the President highlighted importance of Border guard forces in support of friendly relations between Turkmenistan and foreign countries. It is necessary to follow these principles, take proper measures for provision of integrity of land and sea borders of the Motherland in implementation of objectives of the Service, the Head of the State said.
Continuing, the President ordered to hold modernization of infrastructural facilities and strengthening of personnel potential under strict control.
Chairman of the Supreme Court G. Halliyev reported on work carried out for development of judicial system for the period under review.
Summing up the report, the President of Turkmenistan ordered to provide strict control of compliance of law and impartiality of judicial sentences. At the same time, it is necessary to make all conditions for judicial procedures paying attention to improvement of qualification of judges.
Under the session, the Head of the State signed the Order on appointment and release of judges of Turkmenistan.
Prosecutor General B. Atdayev made a report on work carried out in January – May, 2020.
Prosecution authorities have an important role in support of supremacy of Law and prevention of any illegal activities, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted and gave relative assignments.
Minister of National Security G. Annayev reported on work for the period under review. Training of specialists and improvement of professional level of personnel have been highlighted in the report.
Minister of Justice B. Muhamedov reported on integrated measures for improvement of legal base for five months of the year. In particular, the report on development of proposals for improvement of number of laws and normative and regulatory acts, which are to support the reforms in different sections of the economy, has been presented.
Having listened to the report, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country noted importance of reforms in legal sphere.
After, Chairman of the State Customs Service M. Hudaykuliyev reported on the outcomes of activity of his department for January – May this year. It was informed that measures for improvement of professional level of personnel are held on regular base and advanced practice in this sphere is studied.
Speaking of the utmost objectives of this structure, the President of Turkmenistan noted that its work has to be aimed at improvement of customs administration for creation of favourable conditions for foreign economic activity.
It is important to implement modern technologies to all divisions of the Service more actively for its better efficiency and establishment of interdepartmental exchange of information, the Supreme Commander said, having addressed certain assignments.
Chairman of the State Migration Service M. Gurdov reported on work carried out since the beginning of the year.
Efficiently implementing migration policy, this structure has to support further improvement of authority of Turkmenistan, the President said, having pointed out importance of application of new achievements of the world practice and training of competent specialists.
Further, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Secretary of the State Security Council Ch. Amanov made report on outcomes of activity of the authorities under his supervision in January – May. The report on realization of large-scale military reform initiated by Turkmen leader has been presented.
Projects of equestrian complex developed according to the orders of the Head of Turkmenistan has been presented at the session.
Having expressed satisfaction with progress of fundamental changes in the departments under the Vice-premier’s supervision, the President requested to continue taking measures for improvement of power of the Armed Forces and modernization of equipment and facility base.
The Vice-premier, Secretary of the State Security Council was ordered to hold strict compliance with provisions of the Military doctrine under strict control.
The Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country noted that ahalteke horses are reliable defenders of the Motherland and public order. Having made number of remarks and relative corrections to presented projects, the President noted that it is necessary to provide rational organization of breeding and training of horses, training of sportsmen in equestrian complex.
Summing up the results of the session, the Supreme Commander noted that the state would continue taking measures for strengthening of equipment and facility base of security forces, making favourable conditions for service and life of military personnel.
Other subjects, on which relative decisions were made, have been reviewed at the session of the State Security council.
In the end of the session, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country, Army General Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov wished health and success to the participants of the session.
